Competitive Cheerleading - As a competitive cheerleader your child will attend anywhere from 6-10 competitions a season this will range from competitions within the stat of Iowa to Illinois and possibly even a major nationals in Florida or California depending on the team. Competitive athletes learn a two and a half minute routine, which they will perfect and perform throughout the season.  Competitive athletes practice anywhere from 4-8 hours per week depending on their age and team level. This includes one hour of mandatory tumbling per week. Athletes will also get to participate in fun events around the community such as parades.

Recreational Cheerleading - Recreational athletes learn all of the same skills as competitive athletes as well as a routine. However they do not attend competitions. There will be a performance at the end of every recreational session. Recreational is a great option for those who are just not ready for the commitment of the competitive program.
